Genius Electric Corp brings clean, owner-operated electrical work to Valencia's master-planned neighborhoods. These are newer, well-built homes where the projects tend to be smart-home automation, custom and accent lighting, panel capacity for EV charging, and low-voltage networking — work that rewards someone who takes their time and does it neatly. When you call, you get the owner, who shows up, explains your options in plain English, and does the work himself.
For Valencia homeowners we install smart switches and lighting controls, custom LED and under-cabinet lighting, Cat6 networking, security cameras and video doorbells, EV chargers, and 200-amp panel upgrades when you're adding big new loads. Valencia is Southern California Edison (SCE) territory, so we can also help you take advantage of SCE's EV-charger rebates. Every job is done to code, priced fairly up front, explained so you actually understand it, and left spotless — 24 hours a day.
A Valencia homeowner wanted to charge their EV at home, and the old exterior panel wasn't up to it. Through SCE's Charge Ready Home program we replaced it with a new meter-main panel with an outdoor emergency disconnect, ran conduit around to the side yard, and mounted an Autel Level 2 charger inside a weather hood — green ring lit, charging at full speed. The job passed inspection. Swipe for the before-and-after and the finished charger.
Panel Upgrade & Level 2 EV Charger — SCE Charge Ready Home

Valencia is in SCE territory, so eligible homeowners can get money back on the panel
upgrade and 240-volt circuit an EV charger needs — up to $4,200 through Charge Ready Home for
income-qualified households. As an approved contractor, we help you apply, then handle the permit,
the paperwork, and a clean install.
Rebates are run by Southern California Edison: you apply and prequalify with them directly, and eligibility and final
amounts depend on your household and electrical panel. Ask us when you call.
Had a very great experience working with this company. The work is done very well and looks seamless. I highly recommend this company for your electricity needs.

I was looking to replace 3 bathroom ventilation fans. Edgar-the owner of Genius Electric Corp. came and explained the installation process and allowed me to listen to the three different fans speeds and choose which one I prefer to use. After installing all 3 fans, he made sure the work area was clean. I would recommend Genius Electric Corp. to anyone who needs an electrician. Thank you Edgar for replacing all 3 of my bathroom ventilation fans.

I have been looking for a reliable electrical guy in the AV for years and I've finally found one! Edgar was great! He was able to come out quickly and gave me a fair price for the work I requested. He did a great job and I really felt like I could trust him. He was respectful of my home and cleaned up after himself before he left. I would highly recommend Genius Electric!

What electrical services do you offer in Valencia?

Do you give free estimates in Valencia?
Yes. We'll look at the work, explain your options in plain English, and give you a fair, upfront price before anything begins — no pressure and no surprises.
Do you set up smart-home lighting and automation in Valencia?
Yes — it's a good fit for Valencia's newer homes. We install and integrate smart switches, dimmers, and lighting scenes, set up schedules and device control, and make sure it all works with your existing hub or ecosystem. And we take the time to walk you through it, so you finish understanding your system instead of fighting with an app.
Can you run Cat6 networking and wire cameras in a Valencia home?
Absolutely. We run Cat6 data cabling for fast, reliable wired connections to offices, TVs, access points, and cameras, and we handle the wiring, power, and mounting for security cameras and video doorbells — every run routed cleanly and labeled.
Will adding an EV charger in Valencia need a panel upgrade, and is there a rebate?
Sometimes — a Level 2 charger charges at full speed only when the home has enough service capacity, commonly a 200-amp panel, plus a properly sized dedicated 240-volt circuit. We check your panel first and tell you honestly. Valencia is SCE territory, so the work may qualify for SCE's Charge Ready Home program — up to $4,200 for income-qualified households. SCE sets eligibility and the amount; you prequalify with them and we handle the rest.
